This is a recording of a presentation that was originally given live in Houston, TX at the Decarbonizing the Oil & Gas Industry through Automation and Digital Solutions seminar in April 2023.

Not meeting agreed emission targets will have a negative impact on your financial performance and your ESG goals, damaging your profitability and perceptions of your company. Measuring emissions is an important first step to managing them and allowing you to drive performance while meeting regulatory requirements. Adopting the right system to accomplish this is important. In this session, learn about a metering supervisory computer from Sensia called TruST. It features auto-generated CO2 reports, hourly, daily or monthly.

OTHER RECORDED PRESENTATIONS IN THIS SERIES:

Driving profitability while meeting industry decarbonization challenges (25 minutes)

There’s so much emphasis on net-zero emissions targets and sustainability goals that it’s easy to forget about the myriad other challenges you face on a daily basis as well as allow profitability to take a back seat. Technology and strategies exist for ensuring these things are not mutually exclusive, helping to ensure that high-level goals are met, while profitability is improved.

Solving the journey from net-zero and beyond with carbon capture & storage (25 minutes)

Carbon capture and underground storage (CCUS) plays a critical role in achieving net-zero emissions in hard to abate industries. This technique will be a critical one as the oil and gas industry evolves into the 21st Century. In this session, learn how Sensia’s innovative product and solution portfolio for CCUS can be applied to various aspects of the process to help drive sustainable outcomes for your operations.

Direct air capture: an opportunity to reduce carbon footprints and create new revenue streams (25 minutes)

This presentation examines how Oxy is turning to Rockwell Automation to automate and control its first direct air capture site that’s designed to help them and others reduce emissions and accelerate their journey to net zero.

Carbon footprint reduction through asset electrification (25 minutes)

Oil and gas companies are striving for a zero-emission production field. One way to tackle this is through the electrification of assets. We review one example of a company who has adopted electrification as one part of a broader strategy to help meet its net-zero emissions goals.
