View alarm details

View alarm details to display more information about an alarm. Additional details appear for alarms in the
Alarm Summary
 and
Alarm Manager
. Details include:
  • Alarm severity
  • Associated tag values
  • Alarm message
  • The time an alarm entered a specific state
  • Individual conditions for the alarm (Alarm Manager only)
To view alarm details
  1. Open the
    Alarm Summary
     screen or the
    Alarm Manager
    screen.
  2. In the alarm table, select an alarm.
  3. Select
    Details
    ViewRTAlarmSumDetailsbuttonV5. A
    Details
    pane with additional information for the last selected alarm opens at the bottom of the alarm table. The
    Details
    pane replaces medium alarm tables configured for six-inch to nine-inch HMI devices. Details show for an individual alarm condition in an
    Alarm Summary
    .
  4. Select
    Details
    ViewRTAlarmSumDetailsbuttonV5 to hide the details for the selected alarm.

    Tips:
    • To show details for an alarm condition in an
      Alarm Manager
      , select the condition in the
      Details
      pane of the Alarm Manager table.
    • Using an external keyboard, tab to highlight a button on an alarm table and press
      Enter
      .
