Pause an alarm

Pausing an alarm delays updates to the alarm status for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds, the notification resumes and updates to the alarm appear in the alarm table. When pausing an alarm, controllers continue to detect alarm conditions, but updates do not display in the alarm table.
The
Alarm Summary
 reorders alarms as new alarms enter the In Alarm state. Pause alarms before acknowledging an alarm. Performing any operation on an alarm resumes updates to the paused table.
To pause an alarm
  1. Open the
    Alarm Summary
     screen.
  2. At the bottom of the alarm table, select
    Pause
    pauseV5. The alarm table stops updating alarms for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds,
    Pause
    pauseV5 is no longer highlighted and the table resumes updating alarms.

    Tips:
    • Select
      Pause
      pauseV5 before the 10 seconds lapses to begin a second 10-second delay.
    • Using an external keyboard, tab to highlight a button on an alarm table and press
      Enter
      .
