Activate the VNC server at runtime

Use the VNC screen to activate or de-activate the VNC server.
To Activate the VNC server
  • Select an access command:
    • VNC View-Only Access - View content on the HMI device only.
    • VNC Full-Control Access - View content and interact with the HMI device.
    • Disable VNC Server- Disables the VNC server.
      TIP:
      Use
      View Designer
       to configure access rights for users remotely connecting to an HMI device.
NOTE:
After rebooting the PanelView 5000 HMI device, the VNC server configuration automatically resets to the Disabled state.
