Remove the System Banner from a screen

The
System Banner
 appears at the top of each screen in a project configured to show the
System Banner
. Remove the
System Banner
 from any screen on which it is not to appear. Removing the
System Banner
 from a screen does not remove the
System Banner
 or its items from the project.
To remove the System Banner from a screen
  1. In the
    Project Explorer
    , expand the
    User-Defined Screens
     folder.
  2. Select the screen.
  3. On the
    Properties
    tab, expand the
    General
    category.
  4. Clear the
    ShowDefaultBanner
    check box. The
    System Banner
     no longer appears at the top of the screen.
    TIP:
    Graphic elements placed at the top of the screen where the
    System Banner
     was located do not cover the
    System Banner
     on the HMI device if you later select the
    ShowDefaultBanner
     box again. For example, if you clear the
    ShowDefaultBanner
     box, place a rectangle at the top of the screen, and then select the
    ShowDefaultBanner
     box, the rectangle may cover the
    System Banner
     in
    View Designer
    . However, the rectangle does not cover the
    System Banner
     on the HMI device.
