Restrict access to a graphic element
Restrict access to a graphic element to allow or disallow touch events. For example, prevent users from navigating to a screen in the project.
To restrict access to a graphic element
- Select the graphic element on the screen.
- In thePropertieswindow, expand theSecuritycategory.
- In theAccessproperty box, select a security level from the list:
- Inherit(default). The security level of the screen determines if the graphic element is enabled or disabled. Graphic elements that support cross-hatching when they are disabled display with cross-hatching.
- Full Access. The security level of the screen is ignored and the state of theEnabledproperty for the graphic element is used to determine if the graphic element is enabled or disabled, and displays with cross-hatching.TIP:If theEnabledproperty check box for the graphic element is cleared, the graphic element is disabled and shows cross-hatching regardless of theSecurity Accessproperty setting.
