Configure Auto-Logoff
Secure an application on the HMI device by logging off users automatically after a certain period of inactivity on the HMI device. Manually logging off is still supported when Auto-Logoff is enabled. When the auto-logoff occurs, the Guest user role is active. Configure Auto-Logoff through either the security policies for the application or by using AutoLogoff system tags.

- SelectTools > Security Administration.
- Select thePoliciestab.
- UnderAuto-Logoff Policies, selectLog off the user after a period of inactivity.
- In theminutesbox, type the number of minutes up to 1440. Select the arrows to increase or decrease the number of minutes of inactivity before auto-logoff occurs.
