Change a user-defined property

After creating a user-defined property, it appears on the
Property Definition
tab and the
Properties
tab for the screen or popup. User defined properties created for the definition of an Add-On Graphic appear on the
Properties
tab for an instance of the Add-On Graphic. Use the
Property Definition
 tab to change the definition of a user-defined property. Use the
Properties
tab to change the value of a user-defined property rather than the property itself.
To change a user-defined property
  1. Select the screen, Add-On Graphic definition, or popup that contains the user-defined property to change.
  2. Make changes to the property:
    • Use the
      Property Definition
      tab to change the Name, Data Type, Description, or Category of the user-defined property.
    • Use the
      Properties
      tab to change the value or binding.
      Changes to user-defined properties take effect immediately and are saved when the project is saved.
      TIP:
      A value or binding for an Add-On Graphic cannot change on the
      Properties
      tab for the definition of an Add-On Graphic. Change a value or binding for an instance of the Add-On Graphic on the
      Properties
      tab.
