Specify a Home screen

The
Home
screen is the initial screen that opens when the HMI device starts. For a new project, the default
Home
screen is Screen_001. The
Home
iconDesigner Home icon in the
Navigation Menu
 folder of the
Project Explorer
 indicates that Screen_001 is the
Home
screen. Screen_001 in the
Navigation Menu
 folder of the
Project Explorer
 is a shortcut based on Screen_001 in the
User-Defined Screens
folder. Designate any shortcut in the
Navigation Menu
 folder as the
Home
screen of the project.
To specify a Home screen
  1. In the
    Project Explorer
    , expand the
    Navigation Menu
    folder.
  2. Right-click the shortcut and select
    Set as Home
    . The
    Home
    icon Designer Home icon appears next to the shortcut. This is the
    Home
    screen that opens automatically when the HMI device restarts.
