Create an
Automatic Diagnostics
screen to view
Rockwell Automation
 hardware diagnostics on the HMI device.
Automatic Diagnostics
screens receive diagnostics data automatically. There is no configuration required in
View Designer
.
By default, an
Automatic Diagnostics
 screen and an
Automatic Diagnostics History
screen are included in the
Predefined Screens
 folder of each
Project Explorer
for each project. When creating a custom automatic diagnostics screen, make the automatic diagnostics table the only graphic element on the screen. Do not add an automatic diagnostics table to a popup or the
System Banner
. Add an automatic diagnostics table to a screen only.
To create an Automatic Diagnostics screen
  • In the
    Automatic Diagnostics
     category of the
    Toolbox
    , drag and drop the automatic diagnostics table graphic element onto the screen.
    TIP:
    Tips:
    • Change the appearance of an automatic diagnostics table in the
      Properties
      pane. For example, to ensure an automatic diagnostics table contains readable content and has a row height that you can tap on the HMI device, change the font size and padding of the table cells. For an
      Automatic Diagnostics
      , change the number and content of columns.
    • Select filters to return automatic diagnostics meeting filter criteria on
      Automatic Diagnostics
      screen on the HMI device.
