Rename a project

Change the name of an open project. Renaming a project file does not change the project name.
To rename a project
    1. In the
      Project Explorer
      , right-click the project and select
      Rename
      .
    2. Type a new name for the project file and select
      Enter
      .
      • The name must contain only numbers, letters, and underscores.
        • The name must not begin with a number, contain spaces, have more than one underscore in a row, or end with an underscore.
      • The name must not be a reserved keyword:

      Standard
       toolbar, select
      Save
      Designer Save icon.
