Create a project from the
Studio 5000
launcher

The first step towards building a runtime application is creating a project. A
View Designer
project includes the screens, controller references, and information about the target HMI device.
View Designer
creates and uses the file extension .vpd for user-created projects. By default, projects are saved to <user>\My Documents\Studio 5000\Projects.

Studio 5000
launcher
  1. Start
    Studio 5000
from the icon on the desktop.
