Add an event command to reboot the HMI device

Add an event command to reboot the HMI device. Rebooting the HMI device is also performed through the Settings screen on the HMI device.
Prerequisites
  • Create an event to trigger the command:
    • Touch press.
      Occurs when touching the item on the screen that is configured with the event.
    • Touch release.
       Occurs when releasing the item on the screen that is configured with the event.
    • Key press.
      Occurs when
      pressing the specified key.
    • Key release.
      Occurs when releasing the specified key.
To add an event command to reboot the HMI device
    1. Select the graphic element configured with the touch or key event.
    2. In the
      Properties
      pane on the
      Events
      tab, select
      Add Command
      .
    Expand the
    HMI Device Configuration
    category and select
    Reboot Terminal
    .
