Rename an image

Renaming an image in the
Images
 folder renames every instance of the image in the project.
To rename an image
  1. In the
    Assets
     folder in the
    Project Explorer
    , locate the image in the
    Images
    folder.
  2. Click the image once to select the item.
  3. Click the image again and type the new name.
    TIP:
    Tips:
    • Right-clicking the name, clicking
      Rename
      , and entering a new name also renames the image.
    • The name must contain only numbers, letters, and underscores.
    • The name must not begin with a number, contain spaces, have more than one underscore in a row, or end with an underscore.
IMPORTANT:
Renaming an image in the
Images
folder does not change the file name of the image. Click the image in the
Images
folder and expand the
General
category in the
Properties
window to see the file name.
