Draw an oval or circle

Use the
Ellipse Tool
 to draw an oval or a circle.
To draw an oval or circle:
  1. In the
    Toolbox
    , select the
    Ellipse Tool
     Graphic: View Designer Ellipse Drawing Tool Icon.
  2. On the screen, select where the oval or circle is to begin.
    • To draw an
      oval
      , drag to the desired size.
    • To draw a
      circle
      , press and hold
      Shift
       and drag.
      TIP:
      Tips:
      • Use Smart Guides to help position the shape.
      • To change the shape of an oval or circle, use the sizing handles.
      • The selected drawing tool remains active until selecting a different drawing tool.
