Draw a rectangle or square

Use the
Rectangle Tool
 to draw rectangles or squares.
To draw a rectangle or square:
  1. In the
    Toolbox
    , select the
    Rectangle
    Tool
     Icon: View Designer Rectangle Drawing Tool Icon.
  2. On the screen, position the crosshair where the square or rectangle is to begin.
    • To draw a
      rectangle
      , click and drag.
    • To draw a
      square
      , press and hold
      Shift
      and drag.
      TIP:
