Export FactoryTalk Smart Object configuration values

Export
FactoryTalk Smart Object
 configuration values to a
.csv
 file to update values quickly. Use the CSV file to filter and modify
FactoryTalk Smart Object
 configuration values.
After modifying the
FactoryTalk Smart Object
 configuration values in the
.csv
 file, import the
FactoryTalk Smart Object
 configuration values to
Studio 5000 Smart Object Configurator
.
To export
FactoryTalk Smart Object
 configuration values
  1. Select
    Export
     .
  2. Select
    Full configuration
    .
  3. Select
    Export
    .
  4. Select a location and type a file name.
  5. Select
    Save.
    A
    .csv
     file is created.
  6. Modify the spreadsheet. Columns that are read-only contain (r) in the column heading.
    TIP: Files exported from the Smart Object Configurator application are unencrypted plain text that may contain sensitive information. You must ensure that the data is always secured, encrypted, and proper permissions are set to those files to prevent unauthorized modification. It is recommended that you store the files on local machine.
