Edit a data type

Edit the name and trigger properties of a data type.
TIP:
Edit a data type whether
Studio 5000 Logix Designer
 is online or offline.
To edit a data type
  1. Right-click the data type and then select
    Properties
    .
  2. Change the name of the data type or the triggers.
  3. (optional) Select the arrow next to
    Backing tag
    to view this tag in
    Studio 5000 Logix Designer
    .
  4. Select
    Update.
