Bus Voltage Loop page
Use the settings on the
Bus Voltage Loop
page in the Axis Properties
dialog box to configure the bus voltage control loop of a regenerative converter. Use this page to:- Define the gain bandwidth of the bus voltage loop.
- Define the bandwidth of the bus voltage integrator beyond which the integrator is ineffective.
Define the absolute maximum Bus Voltage Error value that can be tolerated without causing an Excessive Bus Voltage Error exception.
The
Bus Voltage Loop
tab is available when, on the General
page, the Axis Configuration
is set to Regenerative AC/DC Converter
or Low Harmonic AC/DC Converter
and the Converter Configuration
is set to Bus Voltage Control
.
TIP:
To open the Bus Voltage Loop page:
- In theController Organizer, expand theMotion Groupsfolder, and double-click an axis.
- From theAxis Propertiesdialog box, inCategories, selectGeneral.
- In theConverter Configurationbox, selectBus Voltage Control.
- InCategories, selectBus Voltage Loop.
The Bus Voltage Loop page includes these parameters. The parameters are unavailable when in online mode and when the axis is
Servo On
. Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
Bandwidth | Specifies the gain bandwidth of the bus voltage loop. The default value is 0 Hertz. |
Integrator Bandwidth | Specifies the bandwidth of the bus voltage integrator beyond which the integrator is ineffective. The default value is 0 Hertz. |
Error Tolerance | Specifies the greatest value that the bus voltage loop can tolerate without causing an Excessive Bus Voltage exception error. The default value is 0 Volts. |
Parameters | Opens the Motion Axis Parameters page to modify existing or additional parameters.Tip: The Parameter List page may contain more attributes than the associated page. In some cases, attributes that display on the Parameter List page do not display on the associated page. |
