Disable web application security

Web application security limits which user groups can view web application displays. If disabled, users will not need to sign in to access web applications and all user groups may view web application displays.
Web application security is not disabled until a new MER file is created and transferred to the operator terminal.
To disable web application security
  1. Open
    FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration
    .
  2. From the navigation bar, select
    Security Settings
    .
  3. (optional) If it is not selected, click the
    Secured Displays
     tab.
  4. Clear the
    Enable Administration Security
    checkbox.
  5. Click
    Save
    .
