Loss of communication for graphic objects

If there is loss of communication for graphic objects in a display, consider the following potential causes and remedies.
Networking and communications failure
If networking and communications have failed on the host
PanelView Plus
 terminal, the
FactoryTalk ViewPoint
 server will be unable to communicate with data servers.
  • View the
    PanelView Plus
     terminal hosting the
    FactoryTalk ViewPoint
     server and observe its behavior. If the same graphic objects also show a loss of communications, and then the problem is not in
    FactoryTalk ViewPoint
     but at lower levels such as networking and communications.
