Display changes are not published

If you are looking at a web application and cannot see the changes you made in the corresponding
FactoryTalk View
 application, consider the following potential causes and remedies.
Browser loads out-of-date display from cache
Your browser may be loading an out of date display from its local cache. Perform one or both of the following steps to load the updated display:
  • Press
    F5
     to refresh the page.
  • Delete temporary Internet files and cookies and then press
    F5
     to refresh the page.
Display changes not saved in
FactoryTalk View Studio
FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration
 publishes displays from the
FactoryTalk View
 HMI project. If the HMI project has changes that were not saved,
FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration
 cannot publish the updated displays.
  • Save the changes in
    FactoryTalk View Studio
     and then publish the displays.
New displays not selected
By default, when new displays are added to a
FactoryTalk View
 project, they are added to the display list but are not selected for publishing.
  • Verify the displays you wish to publish are selected before publishing.
