Enable administration security

Administration security limits which user groups can access
FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration
. If enabled, all users will be required to sign in to
FactoryTalk Directory
 to use
FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration
.
To enable administration security
  1. Open
    FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration
    .
  2. From the navigation bar, select
    Security Settings
    .
  3. (optional) If it is not selected, click the
    Administration
     tab.
  4. Select the
    Enable Administration Security
     checkbox.
  5. Select one or more user groups that will have access to
    FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration
    .
  6. Click
    Apply
    .
