Select graphic displays

Select graphic displays to publish them to
FactoryTalk ViewPoint
. Displays that have changed since the last publication are automatically selected for publication.
If you are publishing displays for the first time, or if the selected
FactoryTalk View
 application does not match the currently published application, then initially all displays are automatically selected for publication.
The
Initial Display
 selection can be superseded by a macro with an associated
Display
 command.
IMPORTANT:
Language switching is not supported in
FactoryTalk ViewPoint
. The web content is published in the default language of the
FactoryTalk View
 application. To change the default language, use the
Tools > Languages
 menu in
FactoryTalk View Studio
.
Prerequisites
  • Select a
    FactoryTalk View
     application.
To select graphic displays
  1. On the
    Publish Displays
    screen, click
    Select Displays.
    FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration
     lists all the displays in the selected application. If you do not see the displays, expand the application's area or HMI server in the list.
  2. In the
    Web Enable
     column, select whether each display should be published:
    • Selected - The display will be published.
    • Cleared - The display will not be published.
  3. In the
    Initial Display
     column, select which display will be shown when a user connects to
    FactoryTalk ViewPoint
    .
  4. In the
    Mobile Enable
    column, select whether each display should be accessible from the
    Displays
    page when using the mobile URL:
    • Selected - The display will be accessible from the
      Displays
      page.
    • Cleared - The display will not be accessible from the
      Displays
      page. If the display is selected in the
      Web Enable
       column to be published, the display is still accessible using the mobile URL.
  5. (optional) Select
    Re-publish all selected displays
     to overwrite the existing published displays even if their content has not changed.
  6. (optional) If the
    FactoryTalk View
     application selected includes a macro, from the
    Select a startup macro
     list, select a macro that runs when a client connects to the published application.
