Import FactoryTalk View tag CSV files

Use the Tag Import and Export Wizard to import
FactoryTalk View
tag CSV files.
TIP:
  • The applications you select must be created on
    FactoryTalk View
6.10 or later, or already converted to
    FactoryTalk View
6.10 or later, otherwise the import process will not succeed.
  • Project and database names must be unique on any one computer. Do not attempt to import a project to a location on the same computer (on a different drive, for example) that already has a project with the same name.
  • We recommend that you close the project while importing as the speed is much faster.
  • If you are editing the CSV file, make sure all the required items are filled in correctly, otherwise the importing process may cause unrecoverable damage to your tag database.
