Language

Use this command to switch the current language setting on the FactoryTalk View SE client to the language specified by the RFC1766 code.
This command changes the language in which the user-defined strings are displayed. If the new language is one that is installed on the client computer, the appropriate regional settings will also be used. The RFC1766 code is the ID used for languages in the
General
tab of the
Language Configuration
dialog box and in the
Add Language
dialog box.
Syntax

The RFC1766 code is an identifier used for languages. Its format is <languagecode2>-<country/regioncode2>, where <languagecode2> is a lower case, two-letter code and <country/regioncode2> is an upper case, two-letter code. For example, the RFC1766 code for U. S. English is en-US.
Remarks
When the Language command is run, all currently-running components will be refreshed with the new language strings. All subsequently-loaded components will display strings using the new language.
This command is run only on the FactoryTalk View SE Client that issued it. It is ignored when it is issued from a FactoryTalk View Studio or HMI Server.
