Change the logon account of Datalog ReadEx Service

If data log model is configured to log data to a remote computer, for data grid to show the historical data, change the logon account of Datalog ReadEx Service so that it can access the remote computer.
To change the logon account of Datalog ReadEx Service
  1. On the computer running HMI server, click
    Start
    , type
    services
    , and then click
    Services
    .
  2. In
    Services
    , right-click
    Rockwell Datalog ReadEx Service
    , and then click
    Properties
    .
  3. In the
    Rockwell Datalog ReadEx Service Properties
     dialog box, click
    Log On
    .
  4. Select
    This account
    , click
    Browser
    , and then add an account that can access the folder storing the logged data on the remote computer.
  5. Click
    OK
    .
  6. Open Computer Management, and then go to
    System Tools > Local Users and Groups > Groups
    .
  7. Double-click
    RockwellServices
    , click
    Add
    in
    User Properties
    , and then add the same account configured in Step 4.
  8. Click
    OK
    .
  9. Restart the
    Rockwell Datalog ReadEx Service
    .
