(Network Distributed) installs IIS (Internet Information Services) to move information between HMI servers and client computers. When

FactoryTalk View SE

is installed, it creates a default website on the HMI server computer.

If your application requires a higher level of security than the level provided by the default website, use the

FactoryTalk View SE

Website Setup tool to do one of the following:

Enable the HTTPS protocol over the default website.

Create a custom website on an HMI server computer using a private TCP port number (49280) instead of the default port number (80).

If either one of them is enabled, it's recommended to disable the other.
