FactoryTalk View Alarm Migration tool

Use the Alarm Migration tool to migrate traditional HMI alarms to FactoryTalk Alarms and Events tag-based alarms.

With the tool, you can export HMI alarms to FactoryTalk Alarms and Events tag-based alarms in XML or Excel. You can also convert HMI alarms in CSV to FactoryTalk Alarms and Events tag-based alarms in XML or Excel.

You can then import the XML or Excel file into your Tag Alarm and Event server by Alarm Import and Export Wizard. For details about importing alarms, see the FactoryTalk Alarms and Events Help.
