Special characters

Some characters in XML need special handling because they are needed for XML syntax purposes and, therefore, cannot be used within string attributes of the graphic objects.

The syntax for specifying an attribute is:

Element names are case-sensitive. All element names in a graphic display XML document begin with lower case.
