Set up ME Runtime 3.20 and earlier user accounts

The first account ID in the ME Runtime 3.20 and earlier Accounts spreadsheet is DEFAULT, with security codes A through P selected. The DEFAULT account is used when no user is logged on. Unless you change the security code settings for the DEFAULT account, everyone has access to all parts of the system without logging on. You can change which security codes are selected for the DEFAULT account, but you cannot change the name of this user account.

    • Changes made to security in the Runtime Security editor take effect as soon as they are saved.
    • You can select users and groups from either a network Windows domain or a local Windows domain.
