Use the Disable User Account dialog box

Use the
Disable User Account
dialog box to disable a user account at runtime.
TIP:
When a user is disabled, the user cannot log in the system.
To disable a user account at runtime
  1. Press the
    Disable User
    button to open the
    Disable User Account
    dialog box.
  2. Press
    Select User
    to open the
    FactoryTalk User Selection
    dialog box.
  3. In the
    Select User
    field, press the
    Up
    or
    Down
    key to select a user account.
  4. Press the
    Select
    button or
    Enter
    Enter symbol on the external keyboard to select the user account.
  5. Press the
    Disable
    button or
    Enter
    Enter symbol on the external keyboard to disable the selected user account.
The operation status shows in the
Result
box.
TIP:
You cannot use the
Disable User Account
button to disable a Windows-linked user. Only a Windows Domain administrator can disable a Windows-linked user from a domain computer.
