Use the
Delete User/Group Account
dialog box to delete a user or group from the system at runtime.
To delete a user or group from the system at runtime
  1. Press the
    Delete User/Group
    button to open the
    Delete User/Group Account
    dialog box.
  2. Press the
    Select User/Group
    button to open the
    User or Group Selection
    dialog box.
  3. Press
    Type
    to select the user or group type.
  4. In the
    Select User or Group
    box, select the user or group to be deleted. Current login user is not listed in the
    Select User or Group
    box at runtime, and cannot be deleted.
  5. Press the
    Select
    button, or
    Enter
    Enter symbol on the external keyboard to select the user or group.
  6. Press the
    Delete
    button , or
    Enter
    on the external keyboard to delete the selected user or group.
    TIP:
    The last
    FactoryTalk
    administrator, and current logged-in user cannot be deleted. If a Windows-linked user is deleted, the user will be removed from the current running application, but will not be removed from Windows.
