CaptionTruncate

Specifies whether to cut off captions that exceed the maximum length at the beginning of a new word.

If you select Character, the caption is cut off whenever the maximum caption length is reached, even if this occurs in the middle of a word. If you select Word, the caption is cut off at the end of a word. The maximum caption length depends on the width of the object and the font size.

When a caption has been truncated, the application places an asterisk at the right end of the caption to indicate that text is missing.
