Create a wedge object
Use the wedge tool to draw wedges. The wedge shape is a segment of an ellipse's perimeter. To create a wedge, draw an ellipse or circle and then edit it to form a wedge.
To create a wedge object
- In theGraphics Displayeditor, selectObjects > Drawing > Wedgeor drag
from the toolbox.
- Press the Mouse button and drag the mouse diagonally to draw an ellipse the size you want.When you release the mouse button, a set of handles appears so you can reshape the ellipse.TIP:PressCtrlas you drag the mouse to base the wedge on a circle.
- Grab a handle and drag the mouse to change the size of the wedge.To grab a handle, point the mouse cursor at it and when the arrow changes to a crosshair cursor, click theLeft mousebutton.
- Double-click the wedge to open itsPropertiesdialog box.
- In thePropertiesdialog box, specify how you want the wedge to look.
