Options on the Audit tab of the Audit Trail List Properties dialog box

The following table shows the options on the
Audit
tab of the
Audit Trail List Properties
dialog box.
Options
Descriptions
Columns
Specify which columns to use, their time and date format, and what header text they will show, if any.
Display header
Select this check box to show column headers on the object.
Select a column
Select a column to be edited:
  • Occurred Time
  • Source
  • Location
  • Resource
  • Username
  • Message
Display column
Select this check box if you want the selected column to appear on the object.
Time and date format
Select the time and date format to show.
The available options reflect the settings in your development computer’s operating system. In Windows, these are found in the
Regional and Language
options in the
Control Panel
. If the operating system settings are different on your development and runtime systems, the runtime settings are used at runtime.
This option is available only when
Occurred Time
is selected.
Header text
Type the text to show for the header of the selected column.
Column width
Define the width of the selected column in pixels.
This option applies only to the
Source
,
Location
,
Resource
, and
Username
columns.
List settings
Specify the amount of lines each audit can use and word wrap behavior for messages.
Lines per audit
Select the number of lines, from 1 to 10, each audit will occupy in the list.
Word wrap
Select this check box if you want the text to continue on the next line at the beginning of a new word.
If this check box is cleared, the text continues on the next line whenever the maximum text length is reached, even if this occurs in the middle of a word or number. The maximum text length depends on the width of the object and the font size.
