Options on the Alarm tab of the Alarm Status List Properties dialog box

The following table shows the options on the
Alarm
tab of the
Alarm Status List Properties
dialog box.
Options
Descriptions
Column
Specify which columns to use, their width, and header text, if any.
Display header
Select this check box to show column headers on the object.
Display title
Select this check box to show the title of the list.
Select a column
Select a column to be edited:
  • Trigger label
    - Shows the alarm's trigger label as defined on the
    Triggers
    tab of the
    Alarm Setup
    editor.
  • Trigger value
    - Shows the alarm's trigger value as defined on the
    Messages
    tab of the
    Alarm Setup
    editor.
  • Alarm quantity -
    Shows the number of times the alarm has been triggered since the last reset.
  • Accumulated time
    - Shows the total amount of time that the alarm has been active since the last reset.
  • Alarm state
    - Shows whether the alarm is active or inactive. Active alarms are marked with an asterisk.
  • Message
    - Shows the alarm's message as defined on the
    Messages
    tab of the
    Alarm Setup
    editor.
Display column
Select this check box if you want the selected column to appear on the object.
Width
Type the width in pixels of the selected column.
Header text
Type the text to show for the header of the selected column.
List settings
Select how many lines each alarm can use, and word wrap behavior for messages.
Lines per alarm
Select the number of lines, from 1 to 10, each alarm will occupy in the object. The default is 1.
Word wrap
Select this check box if you want the text to continue on the next line at the beginning of a new word.
If this check box is cleared, the text continues on the next line whenever the maximum text length is reached, even if this occurs in the middle of a word or number. The maximum text length depends on the width of the object and the font size.
List Mode
Select whether to show all alarms, currently active alarms, or alarms that have been active in the past.
All Alarms
All the alarms that have been set up in the
Alarm Setup
editor, whether they are active, inactive, or never have been active, will be shown.
Active alarms
Only currently active alarms are shown. When an alarm becomes inactive, it is removed from the list.
Past alarms
Alarms that have been active at some point since the last reset are shown, whether they are currently active.
Titles
Use the default title for the selected list, or type a title up to 80 characters long.
Filtering
Filter the object to show only the alarms from the specified triggers.
Filtered triggers
Click the
Browse
button to open the Trigger Label Selector, where you can select the alarm trigger labels whose alarms will be included on the display as they occur.
If this box is blank, all alarms are shown.
