Options on the Alarm tab of the Alarm Banner Properties dialog box
The following table shows the options on the
Alarm
tab of the Alarm Banner Properties
dialog box.Options | Descriptions |

Alarm settings | Specify alarm options in this area. |
Queue new alarms | Select this check box to queue new alarms until the operator clears the current alarm from the banner. If this check box is clear, new alarms will replace the shown alarm as soon as they occur, and the banner will always show the most recent alarm. |
Display trigger value | Select this check box if you want the alarm banner to show the current alarm's trigger value as defined on the Messages tab of the Alarm Setup editor. |
Display trigger label | Select this check box if you want the alarm banner to show the current alarm's trigger label as defined on the Trigger tab of the Alarm Setup editor. |
Display inactive alarms | Select this check box if you want the alarm banner to show inactive alarms that have not been acknowledged as well as active alarms that have not been acknowledged. |
Display alarm state | If the Display inactive alarms check box is selected, select this check box to show the alarm state. If an alarm is still active, an asterisk (*) appears beside the message. |
Display alarm time | Select this check box if you want the alarm banner to show the time when the current alarm occurred. |
Alarm time format | If you select the Display alarm time check box, select the format in which to show alarm times. |
Filtering | Filter the object to show only the alarms from the specified triggers. |
Filtered triggers | Click the Browse button to open the Trigger Label Selector, where you can select the alarm trigger labels whose alarms will be included on the display as they occur.If this box is blank, all alarms are shown. |
