Set up states for a symbol indicator

Use the
States
 tab to set up how the symbol indicator's appearance changes to match the value of the Indicator connection.
To set up states for the symbol indicator
  1. In the
    Graphics Display
     editor, double-click the object to open its
    Properties
    dialog box.
  2. Click the
    States
    tab.
  3. From the
    Select state
     list, select
    State 0
    .
  4. Specify these properties for State 0:
    • Value
    • Border color
    • Image appearance
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each additional state and the Error state. (The Error state has no value.)
Once you set up the properties for one state, you can copy and paste the state’s properties to another state or to all states.
TIP:
To add or remove a state without returning to the
General
tab, click
Insert State
 or
Delete State
.
