Create a Shutdown button

At runtime, the operator can use the
Shutdown
 button to shut down the application. When the operator presses the button, the application closes, stopping all project components, and returns to Windows.
To create a Shutdown button
  1. In the
    Graphics Display
     editor, select
    Objects > Advanced > Shutdown
     or drag Shutdown from the toolbox.
  2. Drag the mouse to position and draw a rectangle the general size and location you want the button to be.
  3. Double-click the button to open its
    Properties
    dialog box.
  4. In the
    Properties
    dialog box, specify how the button looks.
