- In theGraphics Displayeditor, double-click the display to open itsPropertiesdialog box.
- Click theConnectionstab.
- Assign a tag or expression to these connections:ValueYou can assign a tag or an expression to this connection. The application reads the value of the Value connection’s tag at the data source and displays this value in the numeric display. If you assign an expression to this connection, the application calculates the value of the expression and shows the result in the numeric display.PolarityYou can assign a tag or an expression to this connection. This connection determines whether or not a minus sign is shown. A minus sign is shown when this connection has a positive non-zero value. If this connection is assigned, it overrides the polarity of the Value connection’s value. If you assign an expression to this connection, the application calculates the value of the expression and uses the result to determine whether to display a minus sign.If the Polarity connection uses a tag with a floating point address, values less than .5 will be rounded down and values greater than or equal to .5 will be rounded up.
