Set up states for a Momentary push button

Use the
States
tab of the
Momentary Push Button Properties
 dialog box to set up states for the button.
To set up states for a Momentary push button
  1. In the
    Graphics Display
     editor, double-click the object to open its
    Properties
    dialog box.
  2. Click the
    States
    tab.
  3. From the
    Select state
     list, select
    State 0
    .
  4. Specify these properties for State 0:
    • Value (for Momentary push buttons with the Value button action); when the Indicator connection changes to this value, the button's appearance changes to the settings you specify for the state.
    • General appearance
    • Caption, if any
    • Image, if any
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for State 1 and the Error state.
Once you set up the properties for one state, you can copy and paste the state’s properties to another state or to all states.
