Options on the Display tab of the Gauge Properties dialog box

The following table shows the options on the
Display
tab of the
Gauge Properties
dialog box.

Descriptions
Value settings
Minimum value
Type the lowest value for the gauge. If the Value connection is at or below this value, the needle is at the left end of the dial.
Maximum value
Type the highest value for the gauge. If the Value connection is at or above this value, the needle is at the right end of the dial.
Legend settings
Legends are captions beside each major tick mark. The caption corresponds to the value at the part of the dial where the tick mark is located.
Show legend
Select this check box if you want to include legends on the gauge object.
Digits after decimal
Select the number of digits to show after the decimal point.
Legend color
This box shows the current legend color. Click it to select another color.
Thresholds settings
Number of thresholds
Select the number of thresholds for the object. Select 0 if you do not want to use thresholds.
Threshold type
Select
Value
to set up thresholds using an absolute value.
Select
Percentage
to set up thresholds using percentages of the range between the graph's minimum and maximum values.
Threshold 1 value
Type the value or percentage for the first threshold.
Fill color
This box shows the current fill color for the section of the dial that is at or above the first threshold and below the second threshold (if enabled). Click it to select another color. If the sweep style is gradient, click it to bring up the
Gradient fill
dialog box to configure the gradient fill.
This color is not used if you select point for the sweep style on the
General
tab.
Blink
Select this check box if you want the section of the dial that is at or above the first threshold (and below the second threshold, if enabled) to blink at runtime. The section of the dial blinks twice per second.
Threshold 2 value
Type the value or percentage for the second threshold.
Fill color
This box shows the current fill color for the section of the dial that is at or above the second threshold. Click it to select another color. If the sweep style is gradient, click it to bring up the
Gradient Fill
dialog box to configure the gradient fill.
This color is not used if you select point for the sweep style (on the
General
tab).
Blink
Select this check box if you want the section of the dial that is at or above the second threshold to blink at runtime. The section of the dial blinks twice per second.
