How the Close Display button works at runtime

When the operator presses the button at runtime, the graphic display that the button is on closes. If the

Write on Close

check box on the

General

tab is checked, when the button is pressed, the value specified in the

Close

value box (

General

tab) is written out to the location specified in the

Connections

tab.

If the graphic display that is closing is a Replace display, and display change is controlled remotely (by the data source), the display does not close.
