Copy and paste state properties

Use the
Copy State Settings
dialog box to specify the state properties to copy. When you paste, you can paste the copied state properties to one other state or to all states for the object. The selected properties are copied to the new states.
To copy state properties
  1. In the
    Graphics Display
    editor, double-click an object to open its
    Properties
    dialog box.
  2. In the
    States
    tab, in the Select state list, click the state with the properties to copy, and then click the
    Copy
    button.
  3. In the
    Copy State Settings
    dialog box, check the boxes for the properties to copy.
  4. Click
    OK
    .
To paste state properties
  1. With the object’s
    States
    tab still open, in the
    Select state
    list, click the state to paste to. If you’re copying the properties to all states, it does not matter which state is selected.
  2. Click the
    Paste
    button.
  3. Specify whether to paste the properties to the current state or to all states.
  4. Click
    OK
    .
