Check an object's different states

Use the
States
toolbar, or the
Property Panel
to check that an object’s states have been configured correctly.
To check an object’s states using the States toolbar
  1. Select the object or objects.
  2. From the
    View
    menu, select
    Toolbars >
    States
    .
  3. In the
    States
    toolbar, select the state to view from the list of states configured for the object.
  4. To view the next state, press the
    Down Arrow
    key on your keyboard. To view the previous state, press the
    Up Arrow
    key. To view the first state, press the
    Home
    key. To see the last state, press the
    End
    key.
    TIP:
    If multiple objects are selected, the toolbar shows the states that are common to all the objects.
To check an object’s states using the Property Panel
  1. Select one or more objects.
  2. In the
    Property Panel
    , click the
    State
    property and then select the state to view.
  3. To view the next state quickly, double-click the row, or press the
    Enter
    key on your keyboard.
