Create local messages

Use the
Local Messages
editor to create local messages and specify their trigger values. You can define up to 10,000 messages in each message file.
To create local messages
  1. In the
    Graphics
     folder in the
    Explorer
    window, double-click the
    Local Messages
     icon to open the editor.
  2. Specify the messages and their trigger values.
  3. From the
    File
     menu, select
    Save
     and specify a name for the file.
  4. Click
    Close
    .
    TIP:
    If you rename any of your local message files, make sure you update any local objects that use that message file to the new name.
    The
    Delete Row(s)
     menu item on the
    Edit
    menu does not delete multiple selected rows in certain spreadsheet editors. If you select multiple rows in the
    Information Messages
    ,
    Local Messages
    ,
    Macros
    ,
    and Alarm Setup (Messages tab)
     editors, and then select
    Delete Row(s)
     from the
    Edit
    menu, only one row will be deleted.
    To delete multiple rows, right-click in the editor and select
    Delete Row(s)
    .
