Options in the Information Messages editor

The following table shows the options in the
Information Messages
editor.

Descriptions
Trigger value
Type a non-zero integer trigger value. You can use positive and negative numbers. Trigger values do not need to be contiguous, but they must be unique for each message. For example, you could use trigger values of 1, 2, and 3, or values of 10, 20, and 30. The trigger value cannot be blank.
Message
Do one of the following:
  • Type the message, up to 256 characters long. You can use the new line character, \n, to specify that the message continues onto the next line after the character.
  • Right-click in the message column and then select
    Edit string
    . Use this option to insert an embedded variable in the message.
