Sorting and Filtering

The data displayed in the analysis dashboards can be sorted using the column headers.
  • Click to the left of the column header to switch the sort order to either ascending or descending.
  • Click to the right of the column header to open the filter control.
A simple filter query can be created using the filter control. Use the pull-down list to select the type of filter:
  • Contains
. This filter looks through the selected column to find any data in which portions of the entry match the text provided in the criteria field and then displays those items in the table.
  • Not contains
. This filter looks through the selected column to find any data in which portions of the entry match the text provided in the criteria field and then hides those items in the table.
  • Equals
. This filter looks through the selected column to find any data that is an exact match to the text provided in the criteria field and then displays those items in the table.
  • Not equal
. This filter looks through the selected column to find any data in which portions of the entry exactly match the text provided in the criteria field and then hides those items in the table.
  • Starts with
. This filter looks through the selected column to find any data that begins with the text provided in the criteria field and then displays those items in the table.
  • Ends with
. This filter looks through the selected column to find any data that ends with the text provided in the criteria field and then displays those items in the table.
The filter can contain two search criteria. The ability to enter the second criteria appears after you have specified the first criteria. The second criteria set can be joined to the first criteria set using one of these options:
  • AND
. Both filter criteria must be met for the item to be included in the table.
  • OR
. One of the filter criteria must be met for the item to be included in the table.
