Information displayed in the web client Machines view

Select the
Machines
icon webclientMachinesIcon in the view menu to display a list of all machines or a list of machines in a group. Enter a search term in the
Search
box to filter the list using that term.
This table describes the columns of information listed in the
Machines
view.
Column
Description
Name, address, status, and operating system
The name of the machine, the online or offline status of the machine, and the IP address of the machine, and the installed version of the operating system. Select the expand icon to display the list of monitored software installed on the machine. Select the expand icon for each software application to display installed versions and utilities.
Tip:
This column displays only the first 15 characters in the machine name. Names longer than 15 characters are truncated.
Installed Version
The installed version of software. The Version Lifecycle Management (VLM) icon indicates the lifecycle status for the installed version:
  • Preferred PreferredIcon
  • Managed ManagedIcon
  • Limited LimitedIcon
  • Retired RetiredIcon
If there is an active Product Safety Advisory (PSA) for a product, the PSA icon webclientPSAicon appears. Select the icon to open the advisory statement.
Compatibility
Indicates compatibility issues with other products in the group. Select the Information Icon information icon to identify the product version's compatibility issues.
Latest Version
The newest version of software available on the
Rockwell Automation
Product Compatibility and Download Center.
Latest Patch
The newest software patch available on the
Rockwell Automation
Product Compatibility and Download Center.

The activation search path.
